So Robb, when are you going ot start selling these pictures? I think that you would do great if you sold them, I know that this one would look great in our house, so... can I put an order in for my husband for Christmas?
I don't know how to "do", but I know how to "look". (I've been learning "how to do" from Kelsy. Thanks! I didn't even consciously know about third lines, though I'm good at horizons in paintings! ;)
What I liked about this one: two rocks on left & one on upper right (I like the balance).Dark vs light contrast. Movement! [You did a really good job here. Often what you see is difficult to actually catch. I think having the clear structure of the rocks made the movement more pronounced.]and I like the horizontal. When I look at paintings I always look first for the verticals, horizontals and diagonals. then at foreground, middle ground and background. then horizon. then light/dark contrast. then color usage. then details. It's interesting because I think everyone approaches a work differently. When I look at art with Kathi C., she always notices details while I am still working on verticals/horizontals/diagonals.

All photos are for sale. I'm working on setting up a website for just that purpose. Thanks for such a great compliment!
