This is a series of photos I took of my sisters new (to her) spinning wheel. They were taken in very low light at a high iso. That's why they are so grainy... but I think it adds to the charm. (it seems that my blog is turning into another knitting blog. I will not allow that.)

Welcome back Robb! These are great pictures. You should frame them. I am sure that they would look great as a display somewhere.
And there is nothing wrong with turning this into a knitting blog! BUT!!
Kayaking is more your thing though! :)
Which sister got a wheel? Is she spinning? This all seems rather ironic to me. For years we had sheep and I wanted to learn to spin & weave...but now that I have the time, I;ve ended up studying instead. (And I enjoy the studying so much I no longer want to spin, knit or weave.) Now that I no longer have the desire, all these people I know (who don't have sheep...yet;) are spinning!
Michelle got the wheel for her birthday this year. She's loving it. And I'm sure if they lived somewhere other than Pittsburgh she would have sheep, or alpaca, or some other wool bearing creature to donate their coat.
Kelsey,
Thanks for the great advice. They are all in color, the fireplace happened to be that color. I hadn't thought of the second as confusing...I guess that's probably because I know what it is :) Thanks again, keep it coming.
